Fathering Project: Facilitator’s Guide

The Tangentyere Men’s Family Safety Group (Men’s Group) is a collective of senior Aboriginal men from the Alice Springs Town Camps. These men bring lived experience and cultural knowledge, which they use to guide and support Tangentyere’s efforts in addressing critical issues such as family violence, suicide prevention, and community safety.

The Fathering Project is one of the Men’s Group’s initiatives, consisting of a series of films accompanied by session plans, designed to engage men in Mparntwe/Alice Springs and Central Australia in conversations about fatherhood. The Facilitator’s Guide required branding that aligned with the Men’s Group’s logo and communicated the Men’s Group’s strength, softness, and deep care for their families.
